i am getting older for sure
today i realized that i am getting old. it's cool though. we dont really get the coolest bands here in the burg (we do have some really cool locals). so anyway tuesday night we are going to have the supersuckers in town and then on thursday night we will have the US bombs. both are pretty fun to see. the old part is about to step in. i normally go to uncle dans on tuesday night because my nephew is there and i hang with him. he just turned 4 in december. on thursday dewi and i just started lamaze classes. now i know that it would be cool to go see these to bands, but i think it will be even cooler to blow off the supersuckers for my nephew. as well as tell mr. peters and the US bombs that i have lamaze class and cant make it. i am right with this.....

I get a small amount of satisfaction from such situations as well, growing up is not bad, once you realize you're over 30 and not dead, you start to appreciate the things you used to think were lame, but are actually really cool.

*Whispers to Sophia" Your Mama and Papa are totally happy about your arrival. I'm your Uncle Peek and I have diapers and art supplies for you. One day we can will get together, paint, shoot some photographs and laugh. I will probably have a old guy walker by then, so don't walk to fast!
